For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On
the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right
time" is now. Today is the day of salvation (2Cor 6:2)
How much time do we have left? Good question and definitely one worthy of present consideration. It's incredible to think that since the first atomic bomb was detonated in the early nineteen forties there is now sufficient nuclear arsenal in the world to completely destroy it at least fifteen times. This is not exaggerated for the purpose of serving our own interests. This is just the way it is! There are other indicators that strongly suggest that life, as we know it, on our planet is rapidly coming to an end. There are simply not the needed renewable resources to sustain the billions of people. Something's about to change quite drastically.
Clearly the earth is aging and running out of life essentials. This is exactly what the Bible predicts in Isaiah 51:6 - Look up to the skies above, and gaze down on the earth below. For the skies will disappear like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing. The people of the earth will die like flies, but My salvation lasts forever. My righteous rule will never end! The same thing is said in Hebrews 1:11 - They will perish, but You remain forever. They will wear out like old clothing.
We've been told that our planet will run down and wear out but how much time is left. Will we or our children be able to live out our lives? At the rate the world powers are going at each other who knows how long we have? This brings us you to and issue of greater importance than the aging planet! How long do you have left? This is the vital question that needs to be personally address in all honesty. If everything goes exceptionally well and you have good health could be you'll make it into your nineties. Duration of life is not long really! Then what?
Life on earth is filled with uncertainties! This is reality! We each do our best but clearly we are not in control of our destiny. Do you know for sure that you'll awaken in the morning? How about going to work? You'll be as carful as possible but what about the drunk driver weaving his way through the streets as he tries to make it home after the latest binge? Accidents happen! Then what? Then the creature meets the Creator! Now what?
If you're not aware of it I want to inform you that according to God's Word you are not able to control when your physical life on earth will be concluded but God does permit you to have input concerning your eternal destiny. That decision MUST be made now. It MUST be made while you live. It's too late afterwards! God will not hear you. He will not listen to your reasons or excuses for refusing to fully embrace His way of escaping eternal judgment for the sins you committed while here on earth. Heb 9:27 - And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,
The fear of facing death is dwarfed in light of coming judgment. How much time do we have left until we're confronted face to face with the Almighty God? Upon what grounds will you base your arguments for failing to embrace God's salvation, for failing to embrace the love He showed towards you when He sent His only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for your sins? How will you explain your rebellion and rejection of Christ's sacrificial death? You are seriously mistaken if you think you're going to get opportunity beyond this life to get right with God. Now is when God commanded people to repent not after they've died. Act 17:30 "God overlooked people's ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now He commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to Him.
Can you hear God's clear instructions to you right now? This is nothing to fool around with. You have been given an opportunity to receive eternal life. Right now God is reaching out to you, desirous to bless you with His forgiveness. He has provided a way for you to escape His wrath and righteous judgment against sin. You can experience forgiveness of sins! You can experience new life in Christ. You can know the joys of an intimate personal relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thes. 1:7-9 - ...when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from His glorious power.
How much time do you have? Are you ready to meet Jesus? Are you ready to meet the One who died for you? Are you ready for eternity? 2Cor. 6:2 - For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right time" is now. Today is the day of salvation. Today determines your tomorrow! Today is when God is calling you to turn to Him in repentance of your sins. He's calling you right now to embrace His love for you. The love He demonstrated when Jesus took your sins upon Himself and took the Fathers judgment for them. Does God love you? Yes He does! Through Jesus Christ He has done for you what you could never do for yourself. He has made it possible for you to be forgiven and completely cleansed of all sin. he has made it possible for you to have His eternal life. It can be your right now! You have a choice to make. Right now, at this very moment you are able to have input into your future. God is calling, He's pleading with you to right now to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior but He will not choose for you. You must do that. I want to encourage you to obey God's command to repent of your sins and to believe with all your heart in Jesus Christ. Embrace Him! Accept Him! Receive Him! Do it now while God is still calling you! You can't be sure about tomorrow can you?

I am pleading with in Jesus name not to still the voice of God. Don't push Him away from you. Don't reject His love! Don't say no to the Great Lover of your soul. 2P. 3:9 - The Lord isn't really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. Make no mistake about it you can experience God's salvation right now! Make no mistake about it you will never enter God's eternal Kingdom unless you obey Him now. Turn to Jesus while you still can, while you still have this opportunity.
