I'd like to just start out by sharing something from my heart to you. There is a peace available to all that simply supersedes every circumstance and situation that life brings our way. There was a time in my life when I couldn't honestly say this because I had never experienced it. There's just something about personal experience brings reality to theory. For the first twenty-six years of my life peace was something I'd never even, considered. I never really knew why I had always experience such inner turmoil. To me that was simply what life was. I had certainly not grown up in a peaceful home environment. Maybe that's why I thought such inner unrest was something to be lived with. I otherwise now! It was in 1975 that I discovered the peace that passes human understanding. Definitely "better felt than telt"! There is a peace available to all, a peace of divine origin! You can experience it!

The political leaders of the world strive to achieve and maintain peace, yet with all their energy and resources and it continues to elude them! Why? What they fail to understand is, in order to have lasting political peace there first must be peace within the hearts, souls and minds of the people! They themselves must be experiencing it. In the Middle East, for example, how many peace treaties have been made, just to be broken with sporadic out busts of horrific violence. These are just people, but they are people who in general have grown up with unrest and violence deep in their souls. Their minds seem to be permanently scared with the images of hatred. Your situation may not be as dramatic as theirs but it is every bit as real to you. Way is it that peace, I mean lasting peace evades you? Way can't you seem to constantly abide with an inner, peace? What you experience is common to all people, regardless of nationality, education and, yes, even money. Prosperity cannot buy you peace of mind.

Peace, enduring peace is not of human origin. Yes we can arrange certain circumstances in life and for a time have a degree of peace and happiness. This is all subject however to the situation not changing and you know as well as I that in life it seems that nothing stays the same any longer than it takes to change it. So much uncertainty!

People try various means to suppress inner restlessness! Some try to drink it away, others try drugs, others the pursuit of toys and hobbies. Some burry themselves in the pursuit of professionalism and monitory wealth!. Empty! We'll always come up empty unless we first make peace with God. You see that restlessness that is plaguing you is one of the Creators tools to bring you to an awareness of your need for Him. Where can you find the peace of God? Where can you find the peace that passes all human understanding? It's waiting for you at the foot of Jesus cross. It's there, in the blood that flowed from His beaten tortured body. Christ died on brutal Roman cross two thousand years ago so that you could know the blessings of sins forgiven and the peace that comes as a result of true repentance of son and placing your full trust in Jesus Christ to save you from the penalty and power of sin. Jesus is your answer!

I want to tell you and I must tell you the truth and reality of my own experience! It is through the Lord Jesus Christ that I personally experienced God's peace flooding my soul and I can with all honesty say that it has never left me. That's not to say that I've enjoyed a hassle free life or a life void of complications beyond my control. Yes there have been some very difficult days since I asked God's forgiveness of my sins and since I personally believed in Jesus by putting my full trust in what He did for me when He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. Through it all God's peace has remained as an anchor in the time of storms. I wish I could give you a sample of the peace that flooded my soul the night received Jesus Christ into my life. If you could feel that peace you would never consider turning it down. It's there for you! It's there for you right now! Will you turn away right now from your sins and turn to Jesus and receive God's forgiveness and the blessings of His peace.

Rom 5:1,2 - Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.

God's peace is available to everyone. Jesus purchased our peace with His life's blood. The ransom for your sin sick, restless soul has been paid in full. All anyone has to do is come to Jesus and receive it. It's a gift Jesus purchased from the Father and He wants you to receive it! He wants you to experience the blessings of divine peace as you turn to Him in confession of your sins and there receive His forgiveness! Will you come? Will you turn away from your sins and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? I encourage you to do it now! DO NOT put it off! God is calling you. He is knocking at the door of your restless sin sick heart. Will you open the door and let Him in? Well you let Him bless you with forgiveness? Will you let Him bless with peace?

I want stress something here because it's true? I want you to know the truth. I want you to be fully aware that today is the day of your salvation. Right now! Not tomorrow, but now! God is knocking, God is calling and He's calling now. Listen and yield to the pleading of His heart! It's not in your power to control your tomorrows! Right now is what you are assured of! God does forever plead with people and He won't forever plead with you. You may never have a tomorrow so I want to encourage you to turn to Jesus right now, right where you are. You might in all honesty being asking how do I that? How do I get right with God? Who do I need to see? You need to go God in prayer! Prayer is simply talking to God like you would talk to a person. I encourage to be honest with Him. He knows you inside out! He knows everything you've ever thought and done. There's not a sense in trying to cover up. Now is the time to come clean, to transparent and talk the sin issues out with Jesus. Remember He loves you enough to have died for you and He will lovingly receive you right now as you turn to Him.
