IT'S LIFE CHANGING POWER

The first, and I feel the most significant proof that the Bible is all it claims to be is it's accuracy
concerning it's power to change peoples lives. In the first century, and among the first Christians, it
was said by the Apostle Paul that the Gospel (Good News) was going out all over the place and it was
changing lives everywhere. Col 1:4-6 - For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for
all of God's people, 5 which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in
heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News. 6 This
same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by
changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth
about God's wonderful grace.

When you read about Paul's life changing experience, which had it's beginning on the Damascus Rd.
in Acts 9 and carried on throughout his life's journey it's simply an example of the many hundreds of
thousands who have experienced the same power down through the centuries. 1Pe 1:23 - For you
have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it
comes from the eternal, living word of God. 24 As the Scriptures say, "People are like grass; their
beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. 25 But the word of the Lord
remains forever." And that word is the Good News that was preached to you. It stands to reason that
the only ones who lives the Bible changes are those who apply it's truths to their lives. This is where
the real proof is! People can make profession of Christianity and experience no change. People can
look on and question the life changing claims of the Bible as a result of such professions.
Jas 1:22-25 - But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only
fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don't obey, it is like glancing at your face in a
mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into
the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don't forget what you heard, then God
will bless you for doing it. People can deny the life changing claims of the Bible when they use a
hypocrite as their example, however, when a true Christian life is used the Holy Bible is proved to be
true and accurate.

If you are honest, personal experience cannot be denied. It can be questioned by others but never
personally denied! It was in January of 1975, at the age of 25 that I first repented of my sins and
received Jesus Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I must say with all honesty that
over the years I have discovered the Bible to be all it claims to be. Personally I find it accurate in all it's
life changing power. I am simply blending my voice with the multitudes of Christians that have
preceded me and found the Bible to be all it claims to be, life changing when applied by the power of
the holy Spirit in accordance with the Scriptures. Ask any true Believer if the Bible is God's Word!
They'll tell you it is.

IT'S PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT REGARDING ISRAEL

We are living at a time when world events have and are presently fulfilling Bible prophecy. The most significant is the nation of Israel. Prior to 1949 the Jewish people were without a physical homeland.
The likely hood that there would ever be a nation of Israel again was considered by world powers to be little. Most believed it would never happen. However on May 14, 1948 Israel was rebirthed as a nation.

In Deut. 28:64-67, God foretold of the scattering of the Jews among the nations. And in Jer.23:3 He also foretold of their regathering. What's impossible for man is possible for God. This is something that has happened in the political world for everyone to take note of.

In 70 AD the Romans destroyed the temple in Jerusalem and the Jews where dispersed to the nations of the world. Though without place to call home Israel remained a nation in waiting. God had given His prophetic word that Israel would be scattered and regathered. Though considered, by most political
leaders, to be impossible God's eternal Word would be fulfilled. After 1900 years of wandering the nations of the world Israel was reborn. Never before in history has nationality maintained their identity without a "national homeland" or than two or three generation. God's prophetic "Fig Tree" had budded!

The Fig Tree is to Israel what the Maple Leaf is to Canada. It's their nation emblem! The most significant prophetic event to be fulfilled in our generation happened on May 14, 1948. That's when Israel was re-established as a nation.

Mt.24:32-35 - "Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its buds become tender and its leaves begin to sprout, you know without being told that summer is near. 33 Just so, when you see the events I've described beginning to happen, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. I assure you,
this generation will not pass from the scene before all these things take place.

What are the chances of this happening exactly as recorded in the Bible? Who politically or militarily had the power at the time to bring this about? This is power witness, something are honest seeker of the truth must put in the equation before doing the calculations. These are absolute facts which can not be denied. Facts documented and recorded by secular historians not Christians who could be accused of trying to mislead people so that they will believe as they do!

IT'S PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT REGARDING JERUSALEM

The center piece for peace in the Middle East is not so much the nation of Israel but rather the city of Jerusalem. Numerous genuine and noble efforts have been made to negotiate peace between the Jews and the Arabs! The stumbling block is Jerusalem. This is a direct fulfillment of Scripture.

Zeck. 12:2 - Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about. (KJV)

Presently there are no immediate answers to the Jerusalem situation. It's an impossible one right now and one that is causing extreme tension among the political and military powers of the Middle East region of the world. God told us this would happen more than 2500 years ago. This has not happened by chance.

THE PROPHET FULFILLMENT OF JESUS' LIFE

The prophecies regarding Jesus' life were written hundreds of years prior to there fulfillment. The odds of this happening by chance are simply mind boggling. It is less reasonable to believe that these events just happened by chance than it is to believe they where the result of divine order.

CONFORMATION OF THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS

In 1947, a Bedouin shepherd boy happen to wander into a cave at the northern end of the Dead Sea. There he discovered an urn containing ancient scrolls dating back over 2000 years. Today these scrolls are commonly known as the Dead Sea Scrolls. These scrolls contained all the books of the Old Testament except for Ester.

In the years following examination of these scrolls have confirmed the accuracy of the Old Testament.
It is commonly accepted among Bible scholars that there about 2500 Bible prophesies recorded in the Old Testament of which about 2000 have been accurately fulfilled. It has been determined that the odds for all this to have happened by chance is 1 in 10 to the 2000th power, that 1 with 2000 zeros after it. It is estimated that it would take 200 billion earth's populated with 4 billion people each to come up with one person who could give 100 prophecies that would be accurately fulfilled in sequence. Remember there have already been 2000 Bible prophecies accurately fulfilled.
